We are pleased to offer members of the Delaware Valley bailliage a very unique experience – an intimate dinner with private chef Shola Olunloyo.
While seated around the “Chef’s counter”, you will interact with Chef Shola as he prepares your food and discusses the traditional and cutting-edge methods used to bring the courses from concept to fruition.
Those who have been to his atelier, also known as StudioKitchen, understand why Chef Shola is recognized as the King of “underground dining” in Philadelphia. For those who have not been fortunate enough, we strongly urge you to make your reservation soon. Seating is limited to 10 guests per night (we have reserved 3 evenings - April 14th, 15th and 16th). Rumor has it that a few notable Chefs might be attending as guests.
Chef Shola is working with his purveyors to create a special menu for us which will include fabulous ingredients such as truffles, foie gras, gamebirds, extruded pasta, etc. Chef Shola’s cuisine is unique and globally influenced from his training in some of the best kitchens in France, Italy, England and Thailand. He recently returned from a stage in Spain and an exploration trip researching plants, seeds and marine life in coastal South America.
Note: This is a BYO event, so share your cellar gems. Our bailliage will supply sparkling wine and dessert wines. We will send out wine style recommendations along with a final menu once we get closer to the event date.
