Red White and Blue Summer Picnic
Because we will be celebrating close to July 4 this year, we decided why not make our picnic theme red, white and blue? All are encouraged to wear these colors as we dine on the regional cuisines of America. Chefs Joe Koye and Ben Wurst have come up with this exciting and varied menu and we hope you will visit as many different regions as you can to sample everything. Included in the menu are oysters on the half shell, tuna poke, four different sliders, various salads, BBQ goat, jambalaya, and many others.
We will gather at the historically significant and beautiful Sullivan House in the Hershey's Mill community on the West Chester/Malvern line. We will have a tent and use of the indoor areas of the house if necessary so we will hold the picnic rain or shine. Directions to the Sullivan House will be provided for all who attend.
As always, your picnic committee will provide beer and simple summer quaffing wine, but of course we encourage you to BYOB also. As a special treat, we will have a table of three reds and we will ask you to sample them all and vote for your favorite. The winner will be purchased for our Delaware Valley Chaine cellar!
Dress: casual (red white and blue if you have it), ribbons.
