A Philadelphia landmark for many years, Lacroix is at the pinnacle of fine dining and a perfect venue for our premiere event of the year, the annual induction dinner.
Under the stewardship of Chef Jonathan Cichon, Lacroix is as fresh, new and refined as ever. Chef Cichon has studied under Jean-Marie Lacroix himself and has been at the helm for 7 years. He is known for his deft hand with sauces in particular, reflecting his excellence in classic French cuisine. Tonight we will sip champagne, nibble on butlered hors d'oeuvre, induct several new members, then move to the restaurant to be treated to a special dinner created just for us. Along with excellent wines we will dine in spectacular fashion! Don't miss the most important event of the year, and come welcome our new members as we enjoy the camaraderie of the table.
As a special bonus, we are going to conduct a silent wine auction for the third year in a row. All proceeds will go toward the benefit of the Chaine Foundation, which exists to provide scholarships to culinary students in need all across the country. If you would like to donate a bottle or two to make this the best auction ever, please let Matt know.
Here is a sneak peek at the menu:
Lobster, scallop and crab crepinette, rich lobster stock, chanterelle served with a classic Puligny Montrachet.
Guinea Hen in its jus, smoke, celeriac, apple served with a gorgeous red burgundy.
Venison, jus, pumpkin dumpling, savoy cabbage, white truffle served with a perfectly aged Bordeaux.
Poached pear, lemon, ginger, duo of chocolate mousse, sesame tuile served with a Moscato d'Asti to refresh and cleanse the palate.
Parking is available at a reduced price of $20 in the hotel garage. Dress is formal, dust off those tuxedos and beautiful gowns and join us for a special evening.
