A Mano is one of EATER's "Philly's 16 Essential Italian Restaurants" with a slightly modern take on Italy.

Winner of 3 bells from Craig Laban.  Winner of the 12 best things Laban ate in 2016.  Winner of Best New Italian Restaurant in Philly in 2016 according to Philly Mag.  They wrote:

Townsend Wentz and his chef, Michael Millon, want people to think that A Mano is just some little neighborhood Italian restaurant. But don’t be fooled. A Mano is really a poor man’s Vetri — a place where remarkable precision and care are brought to classic Italian pastas and entrées, resulting in something uniquely modern and uniquely Philadelphian.

The Chaine des Rotisseurs doesn't typically equate to "poor" so let's think of this restaurant as in a class by itself!  When we take over A Mano on April 14 we will dine mostly family style and be treated to excellent wines from regions you may never have tried or even heard of!  One wine's grape we will serve in fact almost became extinct and it's a great thing it didn't.

Join us and eat well and learn more about Italian wine, the country that boasts over 400 varieties of grapes!  This is a Mondiale event and preference will be given to Mondiale members.

The restaurant believes like many that their menu must change constantly to reflect what is available and fresh.  Consequently, we will not have a menu until next week but it will delight you!
