Jaxon BYOB is a quintessentially modern Philadelphia restaurant experience.   From its location in the hot Northern Liberties district to its spare urban décor to its open kitchen to its chalkboard menu, this small intimate space is home to one of Philadelphia's best BYOB restaurants according to Philadelphia Magazine.  Chef Matthew Gansert turns out local seasonal cuisine that incorporates things such as vegetables, microgreens and pickled ingredients on his plates.  His dishes are inventive, beautifully presented and most importantly very tasty.  A graduate of Walnut Hill College and a sous chef at Will BYOB are among his qualifications but it is his creativity that makes Jaxon shine.

Delaware Valley's Chaine Unplugged events are more impromptu, very casual, and sometimes there is little advance warning and this keeps them more spontaneous.  Join us at Jaxon where the plates of food will just keep coming, and don't forget to bring your own bottle to share with friends and enjoy the camaraderie of the table, Chaine casual style!

The chef is preparing the menu but won't have it nailed down until a week before to keep it fresh and current but here is a picture of an appetizer they served recently.  This should help tantalize you, it featured smoked trout, peas, microgreens, red pepper and a tangy dressing.
